The main objective of the project is to increase the area covered by revitalisation processes by 0.14 ha by revitalising the degraded area – Primary School No. 1 in Gorzów Wlkp. and giving it 5 new functions: educational, social, recreational, cultural and tourism in accordance with the LUBUSKI ROP 2020,Activities 9.2. The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the main objective of the PO: improving adaptability to climate change and developing risk management systems and improving the efficiency and preservation of natural and cultural resources. The subject of this project is the modernisation of the SP 1 building with land development. As a result of the renovation and construction works carried out, the building will be modernised. Schools will include educational halls, a recreation zone and a teaching trail showing the school’s history and its historic character, and as a result, the first inhabitants of the region affected by revitalisation processes will grow. Thanks to the project, there will be a reduction in the severity of social problems occurring in this area, and residents will gain a place for recreation. Improving the aesthetics of the historic building will increase tourist traffic, which in turn can generate additional jobs and reduce unemployment in Gorzów Wlkp. The specific objectives closely linked to the main objective are: an increase in the number of infrastructure facilities located in revitalised areas supported by 1 item, an increase in the number of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities by 1 unit, an increase in the number of projects in which the costs of reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities with disabilities were financed by 1 unit, and the maintenance of jobs-0.25 FTE (women: 0.25 FTE, male: 0,00 FTE), increase in open space created or restored in urban areas (m²): 780 m².
