The aim of the project is to develop an innovative LabGears IT system allowing the collection, sharing, management and analysis of scientific and R & D data, which does not have its counterpart on the world market. The high complexity and interdisciplinary nature of R & D projects carried out at Adamed Pharma requires close cooperation of teams working not only in various laboratories and offices, but also in different locations: Pabianice, Pieńków, Cracow. In addition, in most R & D projects, part of the research is also carried out in various external centres, such as the laboratories of consortia from various scientific centres in Poland and abroad, as well as companies carrying out specialised research commissioned. The lack of an IT system for integration, authorisation management and secure data sharing causes numerous problems and significantly reduces the efficiency of work. As part of the R & D work foreseen in the project, universal modules of the LabGears system will be created: A programming library that includes the implementation of all key data objects, methods and structures, universal backend and frontend elements. In addition to Adamed Pharma, LabGears system will be made available on the market to entities looking for a modern laboratory data management system tailored to their needs. Therefore, based on the above-mentioned shared modules, the Applicant intends to develop 3 independent applications for internal and external implementation: LabGears In House – App for Applicants LabGears Cloud – dedicated to non-profit institutions, small companies and startups LabGears CRO application – for commercial research companies in the fields of chemistry and biotechnology The project will be implemented in 7 stages, which will last from September 2019 to March 2022 During the implementation of the project the Applicant plans to establish cooperation with scientific units, i.e. UMK in Toruń and AGH
