The object of the project is to carry out a comprehensive refurbishment of the front barrier of the Lakesko water reservoir. The homogeneous earth barrier made of medium grain sands with a reinforced concrete slope screen is located in km 484+ 300 of the Warta River. Its purpose is to imbue the water in the tank. Thanks to the high quality of the facility, the reservoir “Jeziorsko” has a retention function and provides flood safety (protection in case of floods). The project assumes the following tasks: Activity 1. Works and tasks listed as indirect costs: — information and promotion. The purpose of the works is to repair individual elements of the front barrier screen, consisting mainly of the restoration of the original state (when allowed to use construction products other than those used in the original state). The work is necessary in order to achieve adequate flood safety. The project will be in line with the concept of universal design – the project will not create new infrastructure. The implementation of tasks has a significant impact on directing public tourism and recreational traffic in areas of valuable nature and surrounding the reservoir, creating favourable conditions for society as a whole.
