The main objective of the project is to prevent the creation of environmental risks in the municipality of Andrespol and the Łódź Voivodeship, as well as to reduce their impact. The specific objectives of the project include: • rapid and effective recovery of the effects of natural disasters, which will, as a consequence, prevent their spread to a larger area, • effective implementation of road, technical, environmental, etc., • elimination of local threats, • increase the safety and security of residents of the municipality, district and voivodship, including people with disabilities. The investment consists of the purchase of: a heavy-duty rescue and fire-fighting vehicle on a 4 x 4 drive chassis with equipment for the needs of the TSO in Justynów. In the last 3 years (2012, 2013, 2014) this unit has been leaving for rescue and firefighting operations on average 52 times a year. The detachment of this unit continues to grow, which is due to several reasons. — in Andrespol, just after the city of Koluszki and Rzgów, there is the highest number of events among all municipalities of the eastern Łódź district. — there has been a drastic increase in the number of events requiring intervention for several years in the county and Andrespol. The county of Eastern Łódź in 2014 was ranked 7th in the voivodship, in terms of the number of events. — since 2010, when the TSO in Justynów came into possession of a new medium-sized vehicle, we are now more often called for intervention, as a unit better equipped and quite numerous. As of 19.VIII.2015, there were 33 members in the TSO meeting the following cumulative conditions: a) basic training of firefighters of TSOs organised by the State Fire Service, b) current medical examination, c) age criterion 18-64 years. The final beneficiaries are mainly residents of the municipality of Andrespol, but also the county of eastern Łódź and the Łódź Voivodeship, in the event of major threats.
