The direct aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of the Voluntary Fire Service units included in the KSRG and operating in Koluszki Commune by purchasing rescue and firefighting cars enabling effective rescue operations and the removal of the effects of natural hazards. As part of the implementation of the project, the following expenditure is foreseen per activity: 1. Preparatory work – including the costs of preparing a feasibility study for this project. 2. Purchase of rescue and firefighting cars – the task is the essence of the project and includes the purchase of the following rescue and firefighting cars: • Purchase of a light rescue and firefighting car with equipment for the TSO Koluszki • Purchase of a medium-sized rescue and firefighting car with equipment for the TSO Long • Purchase of a medium-sized rescue and firefighting car with equipment for OSP Kałków Large 3. They will be transferred for use to the TSO units included in the KSRG and operating in the municipality: TSO Koluszki, TSO Long and TSO Large Knobs. The technical parameters of the cars were determined on the basis of the tasks to be performed by the above-mentioned TSO units within the National Rescue and Firefighting System. The implementation of the project under this option will help to effectively solve problems and achieve the objectives defined in this project. The selected options take into account cost-effectiveness requirements – they do not cause excessive rolling stock expansion, generating unreasonable operating costs. The project will be implemented in the municipality of Koluszki, with a much larger area of impact due to the inclusion of the above-mentioned TSO units in the National Rescue and Firefighting System and will extend to the whole district of eastern Łódź. Its recipients will be both residents and economic operators operating in the area in question.
