When implementing the project, WWCOiT M. Copernicus in Łódź will undertake supporting and supplementing the screening programme for early detection of colorectal cancer aimed at increasing reporting for prophylactic tests. The applicant will cover the ‘white spots’ areas, i.e. areas with lower levels of reporting per study. The project’s activities will focus on eliminating barriers to access to preventive research. Reaching people from the areas of “white spots” will contribute to the goal of increasing participation in bad preventive inhabitants of Łódź Voivodeship. Educational activities will be carried out (for the medical staff of the POZ/cooperating with the POZ) on the implementation of preventive measures for early detection of colorectal cancer. The applicant will include a health programme of 1900 people and 3060 people will be participants in information and education activities, including health-promoting education. In addition, the project will provide educational support to 90 people who are medical staff of POZ facilities. As a result of the project, 1500 people will have a preventive survey. The participants of the project will have bad.colonoscopy in the best oncology centre in the region, which is WWCOiT in Łódź. Participants will be provided with anaesthesia/sedation, as well as access to and from the study (or reimbursement of the cost of travel), information on preparation for the test, provision of laxative. Each participant will be treated individually regardless of gender, religion, disability or belief. Action shall always be taken in accordance with the principles of equal opportunities and non-discrimination, sustainable development, universal design and equality between women and men. The project will be implemented from 04.05.2020-31.10.2023.
