Together against COVID-19!

The aim of the project is to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect the health and life of people at particular risk of infection in 213 Social Assistance Centres (OPS), 20 District Family Assistance Centres (PCPR),11 palliative-hospice care institutions,10 shelters for homeless people. The above-mentioned support will be addressed to 3643 employees of all the institutions listed and a total of 923 patients/pensioners (463) and (460) homeless by purchasing equipment and retrofitting work stations and purchasing personal protective equipment to protect the needs of employees and persons staying in these facilities for three months. In order to ensure the common health security of residents of Lubelskie voivodship, staff, residents, patients and wards in palliative and hospice care institutions and shelters for homeless people, as well as OPS and PCPR employees, the purchase of the above-mentioned personal protective equipment and equipment will significantly reduce the effects of the spread of the virus. The implementation of the project will contribute to maintaining and adapting the functioning of these units to the situation of the threat of the COVID-19 outbreak and its consequences, preventing infection among residents of the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Equipping hospice centres with highly specialised equipment for rapid decontamination of premises in order to efficiently protect both patients and staff so as not to cause additional discomfort to people suffering from incurable diseases. The actions taken will result in a decrease in the number of infections in the Covid-19 region in the region. The main tasks carried out in the project concern support for OPS/PCPR, palliative-hospice care institutions, shelters for homeless people in relation to the epidemic threat will take into account the adaptation to the needs and capabilities of the recipients of the support, individual needs.
