Reduction of air pollution in Płońsk – Stage II

The project will cover 14 households from the Municipality of Płońsk City (obręb: 142001_1.0217 – Płońsk City, Płońsk District). As part of the project in 6 locations, the old solid fuel heating appliances will be replaced by gas furnaces, in 7 locations the old, inefficient, non-condensing gas furnaces will be replaced by modern gas furnaces. In 1 location, the coal kiln will be replaced with a heat source burning biomass (pelet). In addition, in order to achieve the level of the EP indicator assumed in the competition rules in 3 locations, there is a need to perform thermomodernisation. The installation of a photovoltaic installation is planned in 2 locations. The project will carry out investor supervision, prepare project documentation, including tender, develop ex-post energy audits and promote the project. The project is planned for 2020-2021. The main objective of the project is to improve air quality by reducing emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases, reducing so-called. “low Emissions”. The investment aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy demand in buildings using energy from supported equipment. All tasks aimed at achieving the above-mentioned objective are the result of energy performance certificates or energy audits provided by residents. The target group – the final recipients, will be the inhabitants of Płońsk participating in the project. The implementation of the project will also have a positive impact on all residents of Płońsk, the Płońsk district, the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, as well as tourists and visitors from Poland and abroad who regularly visit the city of Płońsk. Inhalation of clean air will reduce the incidence of various diseases of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
