Project entitled: The qualitative development of the functional area of Płońsk, including the revitalisation of architectural, cultural and landscape space will be carried out in Płońsk, Płońsk County. The substantive scope of the project concerns the following investment tasks: Revitalisation of 15 August Square and Little Market Square at ul. 19th January in Płońsk with elements of small architecture and green design; Changing the use of an existing residential building into a building – a tourist information centre, building car parks in the market (ineligible costs in the project); Reconstruction of Warsaw Street together with a small architecture in Płońsk (ineligible costs). As part of the project, investor supervision will be carried out and the project promotion will be carried out on an ongoing basis. The project is planned to be implemented in 2018-2019. The main objective of the project is the development of technical infrastructure in areas revitalised for their social and economic activation. The planned tasks of the project are located in the city centre, in the most important part of the city and in the visiting part of the city. At present, this area is characterised by a high level of technical degradation both in the area of infrastructure and also for buildings. The revitalisation of urban space, including the opening of the passage to the market, will stimulate economic activity of a service and commercial nature in the area of impact of the project and thus create new jobs. In addition, the revitalised urban space will be used at various cultural, entertainment and recreational urban events. The target group will be residents of Płońsk, Płońsk district, Mazowieckie Voivodeship and tourists and visitors from Poland and abroad who will visit the beautiful and historical city of Płońsk.
