The concept of implementation of the project involves:1. the creation and development of a common platform at regional level, enabling the processing and transfer of medical data between medical units in the region, containing a regional repository of medical documentation allowing the storage and exchange of EMD in accordance with the current standards and recommendations for interoperability and security implemented on the basis of IHE integration profiles, while providing methods of authorisation in accordance with the applicable legal order of electronic medical records, which is not provided by the pilot project;2. development of MSIM with selected additional functionalities of the service:1 patient access to medical data,2 exchange of EDM, including among others: access, search and download of documents between the project partners,3 eRegistration;3. connection of MSIM with the nationwide P1 platform under construction;4. integration with other national projects in the areas of eHealth and national trust infrastructure;5. providing the necessary technical means to exchange data with other regional platforms;6. connection to MSIM of further medicinal entities with whom partnership agreements have been concluded. The project foresees investments in individual therapeutic entities to effectively connect entities to MSIM and provide technical capabilities to manufacture and replace EMD and use eServices available in the System. During the implementation of the project, including on the basis of practical verification of solutions, analyses and studies prepared, the possibilities and conditions of joining other types of entities providing health services to MSIM, including, among others, will be verified.
