Opole against COVID-19

The project was developed in partnership between Opolskie Voivodeship and partners. It responds to the diagnosed problems and needs of the leader and partners in preventing, countering and combating the COVID-19 outbreak in Opolskie Voivodship. Q1: Lack of sufficient personal protective equipment for staff including medical, rescue and sanitary-epidemiological services in direct contact with persons infected or potentially infected with the coronavirus. Q2: Lack of equipment and equipment necessary to carry out urgent actions related to the prevention, prevention and combating of the coronavirus outbreak. Q3: The need to adapt hospital infrastructure to the fight against the coronavirus. The subject of the project will be the purchase of personal protective equipment and disinfectants, medical equipment and equipment and the necessary construction works. The group of recipients of the project’s activities is the entire population of the Opolskie Voivodeship. According to GUS data for 2019 (first half) there are 984 thousand people in Opolskie Voivodship (K-508 thousand. M-476 thousand), including more than 255,000 people aged 60 and over. The tasks planned in the project are also intended to cover those who, due to their profile, are at the forefront of the coronavirus outbreak. The activities planned in the project aim to limit the spread of the coronavirus outbreak among the inhabitants of the Opolskie Voivodeship. Activities in the project will include support in many fields, contributing to the achievement of the objective set for measure 8.1 in the ROP OP 2014-2020, i.e. increasing the number of health services provided in the region.
