The project was developed in partnership between Opolskie Voivodeship and partners and is a response to the diagnosed problems and needs of the leader and partners related to the prevention, prevention and control of SARS-COV-2 virus in Opolskie voivodship. Q1: No adequate oxygen installations in hospitals. Q2: No proper sewage systems in hospitals. Q3: Lack of adequate protection of medical waste. Q4: Lack of other measures necessary to fight COVID-19, i.e. equipment and equipment, construction works, personal protective equipment. Q5: Lack of training and psychological support for medical staff in the fight against COVID-19. The subject of the project will be for example in hospitals oxygen, sewage installations, protection of medical waste, purchase of personal protective equipment and disinfectants, medical equipment and equipment, construction works. In addition, training and psychological support for medical staff are planned. The group of recipients of the project’s activities is the entire population of the Opolskie Voivodeship. According to GUS data for 2019 (first half) there are 984 thousand people in Opolskie Voivodship (K-508 thousand. M-476 thousand), including more than 255,000 people aged 60 and over. The tasks planned in the project are also intended to cover healthcare providers who, due to their profile, are at the forefront of the coronavirus outbreak. In addition, the project provides for training or co-financing of individual courses and trainings – improving the professional skills of medical staff and psychological support of medical staff fighting against SARS-CoV-2. The activities planned in the project are designed to limit the spread of the coronavirus outbreak among the inhabitants of the Opole Voivodeship. Activities in the project will include support in many fields, contributing to the achievement of the objective set for measure 8.1 in the ROP OP 2014-2020, i.e. increasing the number of health services provided in the region.
