The ongoing project consisting of research to implement new types of disc wheels for production, due to its R & D nature will be located in Narwi, in close proximity to the Research and Development Centre. The main goal of the project is diversification, through the implementation of new types of multi-part wheels in Pronar. The tasks in the project will be divided into second stages: I. Conduct of industrial research II. Carrying out development work aimed at implementing multi-part rims into production. The performance indicator will be the application of a multi-part rim utility model. The target groups will be: —producers of agricultural machinery – municipal machinery manufacturers – Construction machinery manufacturers – Mining machinery manufacturers – Forest machinery manufacturers The main innovative research areas will be: —selection of materials to make prototypes -Use in the production of an optimal welding method, which will ensure an increase in efficiency while maintaining the high quality of the connector itself and the entire welded zone -examination of the plastic processing process, consisting of the proper shaping of the material before welding – the examination of the susceptibility of certain materials to shaping The development work will concern the execution of prototypes of multi-part wheels, their performance tests and the execution of a series of test wheels, in order to check tooling and optimise production.
