The objective of the project “Montage of installations for the generation of energy from renewable sources for own use of the City of Siemiatycze” is to increase the share of renewable energy sources in energy production in the City of Siemiatycze. This project envisages the construction of photovoltaic micro-installations for local energy supply. The project corresponds to the type of operation defined in the Rules of the Competition, i.e. Investments in the construction of new or increasing power generation units for electricity and heat from RES (biomass, biogas, wind, sun, water and Earth) together with connection to the distribution/transmission network for own use. The investment consists of the construction of 8 PV installations for public buildings owned by the City for the production of electricity based on solar energy, on the basis of technical documentation prepared by the Contractor. The installation of PV installations with different power according to the needs and conditions of the buildings included in the city’s resources has been designed: — Public Gymnasium No 1-37.5 kWp (after the School of Music), – Sports and Video Hall – 47,5 kWp, – Kindergarten No 1-20.0 kWp, – Primary School No 1-37.5 kWp, – Nursery No 3-37.5 kWp, – Nursery No 5-25 kWp, – Primary School No 3 of John Paul II – 47.5 kWp, – Municipality of Siemiatycze – 19 kWp. Ultimately, each individual installation should cover up to 100 % of the electricity demand depending on technical conditions, while meeting the CO2 reduction target of min 40 %, as well as the use of electricity produced for own use in accordance with the existing technical conditions for installation of the installation. The project will reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions and improve the environment. The project will directly implement the indicators described in Point V of the application. Planned date of implementation of the project: from 03.04.2019 to 31.12.2020
