Purchase of a rescue and firefighting car for OSP Lubzin

The main objective of this project is to increase the effectiveness of preventing the effects of natural disasters and to remove the consequences of disasters by purchasing a rescue and fire-fighting car for the Lubzin OSP. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving and improving the safety of residents and their property, ensuring a quick and efficient response, increasing the potential of TSOs. The project will also provide training for firefighters and residents to improve safety. Modern equipment will make it possible for the TSO unit to reach the victims of accidents (car, fire, floods) or in the areas of cataclysms faster, thanks to which the effects of the resulting threats can be minimised in a short time. The planned investment under this project will take place in one phase foreseen for Q1 2020, which will include the purchase of a light rescue and fire-fighting car with equipment, with container housing, water tank 1000 l., drive 4x2, total weight up to 5000 kg, with a 6-person crew, meeting the requirements of the certificate of approval for a light rescue and firefighting car with equipment. The project will be implemented by the Municipality of Ropczyce in partnership with the Voluntary Fire Service in Lubzin on the basis of a partnership agreement of 29 March 2019. The owner of the purchased equipment, on the basis of the cooperation agreement concluded, will be the Municipality of Ropczyce. The fire truck resulting from the implementation of the project will then be transferred to the TSO in Lubzin by concluding an appropriate agreement on free use. The entity responsible for the day-to-day operation of the project after its completion will therefore be the TSO, and the maintenance and operation of the equipment purchased as a result of the implementation of the project will be financed from the municipal budget and the funds allocated annually under the KSRG. The car will be used for its intended use and stored in the garage of the TSO in Lubzin.
