The general objectives of the Project are: improving the level of safety in the Municipality of Dynów in terms of natural and technological risks, improving the living conditions of residents, increased safety of management, increasing the competitiveness of the City. The direct aim of the project is to improve the state of preparation of the City to undertake rescue actions in situations of threats arising from climate change and technical and communication disasters. The object of the project is the purchase of a light vehicle of special fire protection with standard equipment, for the operation of rescue operations and for the recovery of the consequences of disasters or major accidents, for the Voluntary Fire Service Unit in Dynów (ul. School). The scope of planned deliveries includes: Light rescue car (DMC 3500 kg, drive 4x2, 4-door glazed cabin, frame structure, 5 boxes, lighting mast, hoses, retractor), equipped with: towing hook, electric winch above 5440 kg, high-pressure water-foam fire-extinguishing unit, water-foam fire-extinguishing device with a pump with a maximum capacity of 303 l/min integrated with a high-speed attack, powered by an internal combustion engine. The number of people at risk of forest fires, for whom the risk has been reduced as a result of the implementation of the project, are the residents of the Municipality of Dynów. The most important benefits characterised and estimated in the economic analysis include the following (detailed description in the economic analysis):- Increase the municipal potential of protection against risks arising from climate change.- Increase the standard of equipment for carrying out basic and specialised rescue operations. — Improving the quality and functionality of emergency units’ equipment.- Increasing the number of hazards covered by protective and rescue measures – raising the standard of road rescue. — Improve the rescue system, civil protection and citizens’ sense of security.
