The object of the project is the construction of reservoirs and water pumping stations along with power supply and transit pipeline in Lubzina, Okonin – the municipality of Ropczyce. The main objective of the project is to increase the accessibility of the population of Ropczyce to the water supply system. The municipality of Ropczyce is watered at 76.0 %. The implementation of the project will allow the achievement of the output indicator entitled ‘Length of the water supply network built’, with a target value of 3.465 km. As part of the project, two retention tanks will be built to provide water supply for the peak cuttings. In order to ensure proper filling of the planned tanks and ensure adequate pressure, the amount of water at the place of incorporation and the correct operation of the planned water supply network and associated equipment, the hydrophore set (pump 4 pcs) will be replaced in the existing hydrophore HL1 Lubzin. In order to increase the pressure of water in the existing water supply network in Lubzin (Przymiarki) supplying buildings near the planned tanks Zb-1, Zb-2, a container pumping station Pw-1 will be constructed. The project also provides for the purchase and implementation of a system for monitoring the operation of pumping stations and water tanks along with control and automation. These systems will be compatible with the systems currently used by PUK in Ropczyce. The applicant for the project is the Municipality of Ropczyce, while the operator of the resulting infrastructure will be Przedsiębiorstwo Usług Komunalne Sp. z o. o. in Ropczyce – a company with a 100 % share of the municipality. This project is complementary to other projects in the area of the extension of the water supply network in Ropczyce Municipality, which were co-financed by EU funds. The applicant has all the formal and legal documents (including the EIA decision and the final building permit) which condition the implementation of the project.
