The main objective of the project is to increase the availability of environmental and care services in the field of combating the loneliness and marginalisation of 30 independent seniors from the area of the municipality of Lesko between 01.01.2021 and 31.03.2023. In the building of the former Armenian temple adapted to the needs of the club, the Senior Club will be created with 30 places for dependent people aged 60+, who, due to their state of health, including disability, require care or assistance in meeting life needs. The result of the project będzie:Liczba supported by the programme of places providing social services, existing after the end of the project – 30 pcs.Number of people at risk of poverty or social exclusion covered by social services of general interest in the programme – 30 people.The main tasks in the project are:- the establishment of the Senior Club in Lesek,- the activities of the Senior Club in Lesek.Thanks to the implementation of tasks in the project, dependent people aged 60+ at risk of social exclusion will be given the opportunity:• to spend time actively in the peer group, counteracting the phenomenon of loneliness and marginalisation,• the use of educational and development activities (e.g. lectures on health issues, art workshops, motor classes), improving the process of thinking and physical condition, • participation in activities within the framework of the so-called exchange bank, aimed at developing the idea of self-help and volunteering, promoting the strengthening of activeness and sense of usefulness of older people,• the development of interests and passions, responding to the individual needs of the participants, including through the custody of the Regional Chamber of Remembrance in Lesk, • participation in cultural events, excursions and occasional events aimed at strengthening the process of social inclusion,• psychological assistance, legal counselling and necessary support.
