Companies operating in the broad steel industry affected by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus are facing many threats in the coming months or perhaps even years. Industry experts point out that the key to survival in the scrap industry in times of crisis may be new technology. At the same time, market forecasts point to the need to adapt to the new conditions by diversifying the existing offer. The object of the project is the purchase of fixed assets in the form of machinery and equipment, which will contribute to the implementation of 3 new services on the market and to the company’s offer, including one service of an innovative nature, i.e. not yet used at least on a regional scale. Thanks to this project, it will be possible, firstly, to extend the company’s offer to include further services, secondly, to obtain new customers and, thirdly, to provide an innovative service for the conversion of non-batch material into feedstock.
