The project consists of the installation of renewable energy sources generating heat and/or electricity in single-family houses belonging to residents of the municipality of Tychy, thanks to grants granted by the Applicant (grantor). The project provides for the installation of 960 RES installations, including solar collectors, air heat pumps (for the production of hot water and co. and c.u.w. pumps), biomass boilers and photovoltaic installations. The works include the delivery and assembly of equipment, the selection of the operator coordinating the implementation of the project on behalf of the Municipality and the promotion. Implementation of the task will contribute to improving the energy efficiency of the Tyskie sub-region through the development of distributed and prosumer renewable energy. It will also increase the share of renewable energy in the overall energy balance of the municipality, improve air quality by reducing pollution, including CO2 and PM10, and improve the health and economic situation of residents.
