The project consists of the installation of renewable energy sources generating heat and electricity in single-family houses belonging to the residents of the City of Bielsko-Biała, thanks to grants granted by the Applicant. The project foresees 1000 RES installations, including photovoltaic installations, solar collectors and heat pumps. The project foresees the granting of grants for the supply and installation of RES installations and the selection of the operator coordinating and supervising the project on behalf of the City, as well as the costs of promoting the project. Implementation of the task will contribute to improving energy efficiency in the region through the development of distributed and prosumer renewable energy. It will also allow: increasing the share of renewable energy in the city’s overall energy balance, improving air quality by reducing pollution, including CO2 and PM10, and improving the health and economic situation of residents.
