Renewable energy sources improving the quality of the environment in the Partner Municipalities: Tarnowskie Góry, Gaszowice, Jejkowice, Lyski, Krupski Młyn, Kuźnia Raciborska, Nędza, Lelów, Psary, Sośnicowice, Tworóg.

The object of the project is the construction of 3615 RES installations, including 1990 photovoltaic installations, 664 solar collectors, 632 heat pumps and 329 biomass boilers in private single-family buildings belonging to the residents of the Partner Municipalities. Implementation of the project will contribute to the use of small energy sources, located close to the customer, reducing transmission losses and providing an ecological effect by increasing the share of renewable energy in consumption (distributed energy), thus ensuring diversification of energy sources, as well as increasing the energy security of the region using natural conditions and local potentials. The aim of the project is to increase the production of electricity and heat from renewable energy sources in the Partner Municipalities, improve ambient air quality, improve the quality and living standards of the local community.
