The project includes the modernisation of street lighting in two (out of four) areas of the city: 1 and 3. Both areas are under-lit due to the significant technical consumption of the infrastructure and the distribution of luminaires. The scope of the project includes replacing existing luminaires with new, energy-efficient, replacing the vast majority of lighting poles, laying the cable street lighting line used for the control system and building new lighting cabinets. All qualified poles (a total of 1349 units) are in poor technical condition preventing further operation. The power of the street lighting system will be significantly reduced by replacing existing luminaires with LED luminaires equipped with an intelligent control system. In area 1 1139 luminaires (1090 replaced + 49 additional ones) will be installed; in area 3, 1124 luminaires (1088 replaced + 36 additional ones) will be installed.
