Land development at the historic mine “Ignacy” for the purposes of revitalising the unknown district in Rybnik

The object of the project is to create in the currently unused area of the former mine “Ignacy” in Rybnik a recreation and recreation area of the nature of a public space, dedicated mainly to residents of the housing estate at ul. Morcinka This project is part of a larger project, which has been underway for several years, aimed at restoring the community of the former industrial plant, which has been the economic heart of the district for many decades. The main idea of this project is to combine in the former mine the social functions supporting the revitalisation process and dedicated strictly to the inhabitants of the immediate surroundings (for social purposes the building of the former compressor room currently being modernised and the development of the area for recreational and leisure areas) with cultural and tourism functions (The historic mine “Ignacy” is located on the Trail of Technology Monuments, and 3 former mines are dedicated to this purpose).
