The aim of the project is to restore and give new social, economic, cultural and recreational functions to the degraded areas included in PRMiG Końskie 2017-2023. This objective will be achieved through the implementation of projects in the field of reconstruction of buildings and urban development. Revitalisation includes an area of area. 17,18 ha: Market, City Park, Jordanowski Garden, adaptation of carpentry buildings (post-industrial areas) to the Museum, execution of monitoring (partnership with KPP Końskie). The purpose of revitalising the above areas is to create a safe and user-friendly environment for residents (5334 persons) and to minimise the risk of social disintegration mainly through the arrangement and fitting-out of space that will bring the various social, professional and age groups closer together. Actions take into account the needs of social and occupational activation, increasing employability (creation of 3 years of employment). The project will affect the development of the region’s community, will contribute to raising the standard of living of residents and the standards of work and functioning of companies. The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of recreational infrastructure in the city, which will make the city of Końskie more competitive and attractive tourism. Revitalised areas will be brought out of crisis by giving them new spatial and functional quality and improving the environment. The project’s objectives are in line with the specific objectives set for Priority Axis 6 “Cities Development” and are in line with the objectives of Action 6.5 in terms of strengthening the socio-economic, physical and spatial development of urban areas, including post-industrial areas. The project is implemented using the formula of the architectural and urban competition, uses EWE solutions (intelligent lighting control) and assumes solutions fully adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
