Comprehensive revitalisation of the designated area in Szydłów Municipality in order to ensure a high quality of life for residents

The object of the project is to carry out comprehensive revitalisation activities covering a number of tasks related to the formation, reconstruction and adaptation of attractive local communities, as well as those using the area of revitalisation of public spaces and facilities in order to give them new or restore formerly performed functions in the degraded areas of the central municipality of Szydłowie. The implementation will have a positive impact on reducing negative phenomena in the social, economic, spatial and functional spheres, technical and environmental aspects of regeneration. The tasks carried out: Reconstruction and overbuilding of the former UG building together with the development of adjacent land, Adaptation of degraded brownfield sites after the completed operation of the waste water treatment plant, Protection and provision of geological unveiling together with the development of adjacent land, Development and ordering of public space at ul. Kielce in Szydł, Installation of a safety monitoring system in public places, purchase of equipment for cultural activities of the IGBP in Szydł, and for tasks carried out by Szydłów Municipality: Preparation of project documentation, Providing investor supervision and carrying out promotional activities. The project is in line with the objectives of the RPOWŚ and is in line with the specific objective of measure 6.5 Regeneration of urban and rural areas: Enhanced socio-economic, physical and spatial development of urban areas, including post-industrial areas. The predominant category of costs in the project is the cultural input (38.62 % of the project’s quantum). Indicators: Number of newly created jobs – other forms of 3.0 (1K/2M). The area covered by the REWIT. 2.68 ha, Number of supported infrastructure facilities located in revitalised areas 1, Number of facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities 1.
