The main objective of the project is to support cancer prevention for the early detection of cervical cancer by encouraging at least 7307 women to carry out prophylaxis in cervical cancer by 30.06.2023 (including encouraging studies of at least 1462 women who have never performed research and 2193 women from so-called areas. “white spots”). Project implemented from 01.03.2021 to 30.06.2023 in the Northern Sub-Region. The target group is 10280 people (8839 K and 1441 M) including 50 POZ doctors (36 K and 14 M). The project foresees: information and education activities for women and men, individual consultation on cervical cancer prevention, education on healthy lifestyles, including body composition analysis, access to research through free transport, mobile research point. The project is implemented in partnership with the Self-Government Primary Health Care Institute in Chęcina and the Association for the Fight against Ovarian Cancer Blue Butterfly. Project value PLN 2 088 000, project co-financing PLN 1878 000, including ESF funding PLN 1 774 800. Own contribution in the form of cytological studies in the project amounts to PLN 210 000.
