The project will be implemented by the District of Kaliski (the Applicant – Lead Partner) in consultation with partner local governments, i.e.: The city of Kalisz, Ceków-Colonia Municipality and Mycielin Municipality.The project’s object is a comprehensive, deep energy renovation of 6 public utility buildings administered by project partners, with a total usable area equal to: 11973.96 m², located in the Kalisko-Ostrowska Agglomeration.The works associated with thermal modernisation will include, among others:- insulation of building partitions;- replacement of window and door joinery;- redevelopment of heating systems with replacement and connection to a heat source;- redevelopment of ventilation systems; redevelopment of systems for preparing domestic hot water;- installation of RES installations in energy-renovated buildings;- replacement of lighting with energy-efficient. Installation of units generating electricity from RES in energy-modified buildings will bring the total capacity to generate electricity from renewable sources 70.38 MWhe, as well as 4.00 MWht of thermal energy. These investments have been included in the Low-Emission Management Plans developed for the areas of individual municipalities where the thermal modernisation facilities are located.Duration of the project: 01.01.2021-29.04.2022Total value of the project: PLN 10 106 100.99 (including the value of eligible costs: PLN 9 700 525.07); ERDF co-financing requested: PLN 5 154 859.02. As a result of the project, the following output indicators will be achieved in 2022:- Number of energy-improved buildings: 6 units- The usable area of buildings which have undergone thermomodernisation: 11973,96 m²- Number of modernised heat generators: The implementation of the project is also part of the 2020 strategy for the development of the voivodship and the Europe 2020 strategy for smart, sustainable and inclusive growth.
