The purpose of this project is to build a “Tulce Tank” in Kleszczewo in Poznań County (Wielkopolskie Province). It will be a reservoir of surface water in the valley of the Męciny river. The reservoir will be built by tapping water in the river due to the construction of an earth front barrier located in km 0+ 505 of the Męciny river about 70 m above the Tulce – Środa road. The investment is the result of a series of analyses to which this document will refer and the need to eliminate the problem of water deficit, which is felt especially in areas of intensive agriculture. The construction of a surface water retention reservoir is one of the investment tasks, which is an activity aimed at increasing local water resources as well as an opportunity for the development of the municipality in terms of tourism. The necessary actions indicating the need for surface water retention are indicated in the Kleszczewo Municipality Diagnosis, which states that the Kleszczewo Municipality, entirely located in the Warta river basin, is drained by its tributaries: the west part of the area is drained by the Kopla River and its tributaries, i.e. Michałówka, delimiting the western border of the municipality and Męcina, draining its central area. The project will cover the implementation of 5 tasks:1. Documentation related to the preparation of the project,2. Purchase of real estate,3. Construction works and materials,4. Contract engineer team and overseeing construction works,5.
