Construction works aimed at protecting, preserving and securing the historic “Zemelika House” in Konin.

The project includes construction works aimed at protecting, preserving and securing the historic building “Home Zemełek”, in which, after the completion of the project, the Incubator for Cultural Activity will be created. It fits into Poddz. 4.4.1 WRPO 2014+. It is a project consistent with M. Konin’s Local Revitalisation Programme 2016-2023 and the current Development Strategy of Konina 2020-2030. The implementation of the project is a multifaceted project, it covers building works in a building, so that, once secured, it can then fulfil cultural and artistic objectives, creating solid facilities for the development of cultural infrastructure. The main idea is to involve the local community in the planning and implementation of cultural and artistic projects, as well as to create conditions for the development and good life of the inhabitants of Konin, including for people with disabilities. The project will create the conditions for creating a modern cultural offer addressed to residents of the Starówka area, other residents of the city, as well as artists and tourists from Poland and abroad. The implementation of the project is also a response to the problem of cultural heritage conservation, assuming modernisation activities related to the preservation of the well-being of the historic building – the house of Zemełek in Konin’s Old Town. Building works within the site, while preserving cultural heritage, are directly linked to the location of cultural services. The project has a trans-local scope, will be used by residents of Konin, Wielkopolska and Poland, and is of key importance for the beneficiary, due to its commitment to the city’s development priorities, defined in the new Development Strategy of Konina 2020-2030 currently being built and the priorities of the War Development Strategy. Wielkopolska Among the project products are the following:1. L. fixed monuments supported – 1 2. L. facilities adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities – 1.
