The object of the project is to rebuild and change the use of the service and trade premises in order to create a unique exhibition “The Story of a Street, 2190 days in occupied Turku” and to expand the cultural activities of the Józef Mehoffer Turku City Museum. This place is the ground floor of the town hall complex, entered into the municipal register of immovable monuments, adopted by the Turku City Council Resolution No XXIX/258/17 of the day. 30.03.2017. In addition, the entire property covered by the project is located in the Conservative Protection Zone of the town of Turku, entered in the register of monuments (A-383/125 dated. 10.06.1985).The current technical condition of the premises (description in paragraph. 3.5.3) prevents its use. For 40years (until 2015) used as a bookshop by private entities (rental contract). Since 2016, the Museum has been transferred to the Museum for cultural activities (lending agreement) and since then, due to a lack of funds, it has not been managed in any way. After the implementation of the project, it will be the place of a unique and unique exhibition, implemented by the Museum as part of a complimentary project entitled. “Archiuwm Negły – Turek in the German occupation plan”Factual scope of the project:-construction works (deconstruction, renovation and new elements., interior finishing, suspended ceilings, window and door joinery, internal stairs and other repairs of facades)-sanitary installation (water-can, central heating, ventilation, air-conditioning)-electric-installation. teletechnical (CCTV, WIFI, publicity, fire, SSWiN)As a result of the project, the Museum will gain a new space, including:-main hall, exhibition area. 115,82 m²-warehouse with an area. 16,01 m²-economic area 3.76 m²-part. sanitary area 4.94m2Products of the project (2020r):- L. immovable monuments supported by: 1pcs- L. cultural institution supported: 1pc — The project does not contain any economic activity (public exhibition, free of charge), hence implementation in the formula without state aid.
