O-ZIP covers upgrading existing and building new content of the Ruđer Bošković Institute (IRB) for conducting top-level research. The project will result in the creation of 4 multidisciplinary research platforms and the implementation of the IRB organisation in order to enable new levels of scientific excellence to be achieved, especially in priority areas defined by the Smart Specialisation Strategy of the Republic of Croatia (2016-2020). The implementation of the O-ZIP will create preconditions for increasing the scope, quality and effectiveness of research aimed at addressing societal challenges, conducting top collaborative research, and promoting the importance of commercialising research results, contributing to the development of innovative and competitive entrepreneurship.
