Exploring changes in the interaction between the rhizobia and food crops for the proposed project will explore the implications of climate change for the sustainability of agriculture in the future. The project plans to offer specific measures to the agricultural sector as a potential solution to adapt to the challenges of the upcoming climate change. Using experimental designs that imitate environmental conditions for agriculture in the future, the project will also offer knowledge of the potential impact of climate change on food safety and human health, and changes to the bioavailability and the functioning of agricultural soils as a result of the planned climate change.
