A life-town Palace project, based on the renewal, valorisation, presentation and improvement of governance of UNESCO SGJ with Diooclecyanato Palace, as well as individually protected fixed cultural goods, through conservation and construction operations, interpretation, presentation, improvement of accessibility, training, sustainable management of visitors, marketing, as well as the introduction of suitable tourism and catering, will contribute to the development of a new, dispersed visitor infrastructure and to alleviate the burden of the most heavily burdened sites of SGJ. The project will also contribute to the increase of visitors’ attractions of cultural heritage and, consequently, to the development of Split as a full year tourist destination.
