The ‘Novo ruho Bridge’ project addresses shortcomings in the visitor infrastructure, the lack of tourism to exploit and the disadvantages of the attractive content associated with the natural heritage of the NP Bridge. Investing in infrastructure, educational programmes for visitors and increasing staff competences are improving the system of governance of the NP Brijuni on the principles of sustainable use of natural heritage with a view to the socio-economic development of the local community.
