The implementation of the actions foreseen in the training programme on sustainable waste management with a view to reducing the amount of waste going to landfill. The implementation supports public awareness of the City of Rijeka on the importance of responsible treatment with municipal waste, with a particular focus on the prevention of waste, proper separation of waste in households, home composting and re-use, with a view to reducing landfilling
