The aim of the project is to increase the number of users of urban transport which will contribute to the further development of the city and to the improvement of the living standards of the citizens of Osijek: 9.5 km of line being upgraded and 9.5 km of contact line, modernisation of two and construction of a single correction station, construction of a underground cable network and the modernisation of 23 tram stops. the project’s value is HRK 267.189.150,00. Eligible expenditure is estimated at 214.058,760,00 kuna. the basis for the financial gap amounts to 93.3242128 % of the eligible amount for co-financing by the EU amounts to 199.768,652,70, from its own resources to finance 14.290.107,30 differences and ineligible expenditure of 53.130.390,00 (VAT). The planned completion of the project is 2021.
