Public work is a labour market policy measure which comes within the direct job creation domain. Socially useful work that takes place for a limited period of time offers funding for the recruitment of unemployed people from targeted groups. The public work programme must be based on socially useful work initiated by local communities, civil society organisations, etc. Public work must be a non-profit and uncompetitive existing economy. Priority shall be given to social, training, environmental protection, maintenance and utility projects. 3764 persons are planned to be included in the project.
