The aim of this operation is to increase the number of direct aids by allocating 29 400 additional national scholarships to students with a lower socio-economic status for a period of 5 academic years. In addition to investing in Croatia’s national budget, this increase will reach the figure of 10 000 national scholarships per year for students with lower socio-economic status and thus contribute to the availability of higher education and to improve the social dimension of higher education and increase the level of education in higher education.
