Extension and endowment Regional Emergency Functional Unit within the Children’s Emergency Clinic Hospital "Sf. Maria" Iasi

The general objective of the project is to develop the sanitary and social infrastructure by improving the quality and efficiency of emergency hospital care for the paediatric population (0-18 years old) in North East Region. The general framework for the development and prioritisation of health policies for the period 2014-2020 is provided by the National Health Strategy 2014-2020, a strategic reference document, drawn up by the Ministry of Health, identifying the development directions Romania must follow, in order to ensure equitable access to quality health services, as close as possible to the needs of the individual and the community. Following the implementation of the project, a modern emergency reception unit will result, integrated to the hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art investigation equipment. Thus, the investment for the project “Enlargement and endowment of Regional Emergency Functional Unit within the Emergency Clinical Hospital for Children”St. Maria “Iasi” will contribute to the development of health infrastructure at local and regional level, reducing inequalities between Romania and the other Member States of the European Union.
