The general objective of the project “INFIINTATION OF DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE IN THE INTEGRATED Ambulatory of Panciu” is to increase accessibility and improve health services for the population. The project responds directly to the specific objective 8.1 “Increasing the accessibility of health, community and secondary-level services, especially for poor and isolated areas” for the following reasons: — the extension of the integrated Ambulatory of Panciu City Hospital, organised in accordance with the provisions of Order No 39/16.01.2008 on the reorganisation of the hospital’s specialised outpatients, through a new building, in which MRI investigation offices, cardiology cabinet and rheumatology cabinet will function, and the equipment of these spaces will lead both to the diversification of the range of conditions that can be diagnosed at the outpatient level, as well as to the increase of the degree of accuracy of medical investigations. Thus, the project proposed for financing falls within the actions supported under Specific Objective 8.1, Operation A, namely: — the extension and endowment of the offence of an existing outpatient; — accessibility of the fee for medical services and access routes; — providing general and specific utilities; — acquisition of facilities for outpatient infrastructure. The general objective of the project is within the general objective of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, which is to improve the living conditions of the local communities by supporting the development of infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring a sustainable development of the regions, capable of efficiently managing resources, and capitalising on their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. The extension of the integrated Ambulatory of Panciu City Hospital, organised in accordance with the provisions of Order No 39/16.01.2008 on the reorganisation of the specialised outpatients of the hospital, through the construction of the Diagnostic Center will lead to an increase in the quality of life of the population of Panciu, as well as that of the adjacent localities served, by increasing access to efficient medical services, by diversifying the range of diagnosed diseases, so that patients will no longer have to travel to other localities for medical investigations that cannot be carried out at present. At the same time, in the case of people from disadvantaged categories, who cannot afford to travel to other diagnostic centres, they will be allowed access to the necessary medical services.
