This project aims to increase the quality and attractiveness of the educational system in Cobadin Commune, Constanta County and, implicitly, to increase the degree of participation in compulsory education by developing the educational infrastructure specific to primary and secondary education. Education is unequivocally the core of a modern society that develops by applying and respecting the principles of sustainable development from all its perspectives: economic, social and not least environmental. The level of education and education is one of the most important aspects in determining the quality of life level, reflecting its effects on the economic and social realities that characterise a community. When the level of education is higher, the premises for development are higher, the human resource causing a stable, flexible, well-trained labour market and capable of sustaining continuous economic progress. Moreover, the educational profile of the population substantially determines an intelligent, sustainable and inclusive development by providing personal and professional development opportunities for each individual, including people from disadvantaged categories, the population showing a high degree of tolerance towards people belonging to various disadvantaged categories. This project proposes the creation of a modern educational infrastructure for children from the primary and secondary school in Cobadin commune. Thus, the project proposes: 1. Expansion, rehabilitation and modernisation of the C1 body with the current built area of 419.00 sqm and the destination of educational establishment (school with grades I-IV). Following the implementation of the project, the C1 building with a built area of 481.14 sqm will comprise: 4 classrooms (1 room with stage), 2 bathrooms (girls and boys), 1 bathroom for people with disabilities, 1 bathroom for teachers, 1 teachers’ chancellor, 3 access halls; 2. Building an educational center for primary and secondary education students, with a built area of 470.56 sqm, building that will include: 2 classrooms, 1 dining room, 2 bathrooms (girls and boys), 1 bathroom for people with disabilities, 1 room, 1 room of the fire signalling station, 1 chancellor for teachers, 1 access hall and 1 central thermal room; 3. Building a gym, intended for primary and secondary students, with a built area of 1140.00 sqm, which will include: the gym itself, 2 girls/boys changing rooms (each with bathroom and shower), 2 bathrooms (women and men), 1 bathroom for people with disabilities, 2 changing rooms (women and men, each with bathroom and shower), 2 access halls.
