The financing request “CREATING A TRAFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND MESSELS for the DURABLE Management of Parking in the Workplace” incorporates the following 3 investment components: • Creating a GIS database with traffic and travel information and presenting the status of the network through public media (Radio, TV, lnternet, Applications) • Parking management and implementation of information panels at the entrance to Pitesti Municipality (5 panels) • Implementation of an integrated traffic management system, video monitoring system, including for public passenger transport The overall objective of the project is to create a traffic management system and measures for the sustainable management of parkings in Pitesti Municipality, thus contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions in the municipality of Pitesti through investments based on the Pitesti SUMP. The aim of the project is to increase the attractiveness of public transport in Pitesti, so that it can serve in a balanced and efficient way all residents/visitors of the municipality. By the nature of the general objective, the investment targeted by the project provides measures to improve the efficiency of public passenger transport, its frequency and journey times, contributing to the objectives of Priority Axis 4 Supporting sustainable urban development, Investment Priority 4e: Promoting low-carbon strategies for all types of territories, in particular for urban areas, including the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and mitigation-relevant adaptation measures, Specific Objective 4.1: Reducing carbon emissions in county municipalities through investments based on sustainable urban mobility plans under the Regional Operational Programme (ROP) 2014-2020, as follows: 1. The project determines a decrease of CO2 equivalent emissions from transport in the project study area, by 3.538 tonnes in the base year (2018), by 4,057 tonnes in the first year in which the project will be operational (2022) and by 4.344 tonnes in the last year of the period of durability of the financing contract (2026) SCENARI WITH Project 2.The project leads to a reduction in the use of private car transport in the project study area, without generating an increase outside the project study area 3. The project offers a viable solution to combat systemic congestion in the urban environment that damages the quality of life, causing noise and air pollution, environmental degradation and a loss of economic productivity. OBSERVATION: 1. The project comes as a natural continuation of the projects carried out by the Municipality of Pitesti through the 2007-2013 ROP through which the existing public transport infrastructure in the municipality was significantly rehabilitated in conjunction with the rehabilitation of other sectors of loans contracted by the municipality of pites
