General objective of the project – Improving the quality of the educational infrastructure in Pitesti in order to ensure increased access to early education in Gradinita with the extended programme “First Steps” The general objective of the project is in full correlation with Specific Objective 4.4 – “Increase the quality of infrastructure to ensure increased access to early education and support the participation of parents in the labour market”, taking into account the specifics of the project activities, i.e. by this project it is proposed to modernise the Garden with the Prolonged Program First Steps. It is proposed to clean and restore facades in degraded areas, restore the finishes of the exterior staircase, restore the roof layers affected by infiltrations, improve the playgrounds with new furniture and equipment related to a better functioning. On the inside it is proposed to recondition the interior wood carpentry and restore the finishes and strengthen the existing interior stairs. It is proposed to subsidise the foundations of the C2 body to remedy the degradations existing between the two bodies and stop their appearance in the future.
