Increasing the chances of development and business survival among entrepreneurs in the SUD MUNTENIA development region, increasing the economy in the region by strengthening the market position of small and medium-sized enterprises in the competitive R & D field, thus aiming at creating new jobs, reducing poverty and curbing labour migration. The Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020 aims to increase economic competitiveness and improve the living conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring a sustainable development of regions, capable of managing resources efficiently, exploiting their potential for innovation and assimilation of technological progress. The general objective of the project is linked to the Specific Objective of this Priority Axis 2.1. “Promoting entrepreneurship, in particular by facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas and encouraging the creation of new enterprises, including through business incubators” – 2.1.B Business Incubators through actions that foresee the strengthening of the market position of small and medium-sized enterprises in the competitive areas identified in the National Competitiveness Strategy and Regional Development Plans. Thus, the project’s objective contributes both to strengthening the market position of SMEs in competitive areas identified in the National Competitiveness Strategy and Regional Development Plans, but also to the economic development in Romania in the short and medium term, a solution that allows to overcome the obstacle to exploiting a competitive potential recognised on the market.
