General objective of the project – to increase the quality of medical services and the accessibility of the population served to the standards imposed by European norms. The project “Extension and Outpatient endowment of Corps C of Urziceni Municipal Hospital”, initiated by Urziceni Municipality, is in line with the specific objective of Priority Axis 8 – “Development of health and social infrastructure”, investment priority 8.1 – “Investments in health and social infrastructure contributing to development at national, regional and local level, reducing inequalities in health status and promoting social inclusion by improving access to social services, cultural and recreation, as well as the transition from institutional services to community services”, of the Regional Operational Programme 2014-2020, by executing the extension works and equipping the Ambulatory infrastructure of Urziceni Municipal Hospital, an investment that will contribute to increased access to primary care services for poor people and those from areas with reduced access. The general objective of the project contributes to ensuring the necessary prevention, in order to improve the health and social inclusion of people throughout Ialomita county and the surrounding areas. The general objective is a consequence of the achievement of the specific objectives, mentioned below, and the specific objectives are achieved as a result of the implementation of the activities proposed within the project.
