The general objective of the project is to improve the urban environment through the functional reconversion of a degraded land in Sinaia and its transformation into a leisure and leisure area for the community and tourists, in line with Sinaia’s Sustainable Development Strategy 2016-2020. Contribution of the project to the achievement of the objectives of the programme: • General objective of the ROP 2014-2020: “Increasing economic competitiveness and improving the living conditions of local and regional communities by supporting the development of the business environment, infrastructure conditions and services, ensuring the sustainable development of regions capable of efficiently managing resources, exploiting their potential for innovation and the uptake of technological progress”. At the level of Oradea SINAIA and South Muntenia region, the implementation of the project leads to the improvement of the living conditions of the local and regional community. The project contributes to the achievement of the general objective of the programme as a result of the effects on the living conditions of local and regional communities by: — The functional reconversion of a degraded and unused land inside Sinaia and its transformation into a leisure and leisure area for the community and tourists. — The creation of a public garden that meets both the needs of green spaces arranged at contemporary, European urban standards and the level of representativeness desired by the current standard of Sinaia. — Promoting the cultural heritage of the city. The development of the touristic offer of Sinaia. Contribute to improving the protection of the environment. • The specific objective of the priority axis: “Reconversion and refunctionalisation of degraded, vacant or unused lands and areas in small, medium-sized towns and Bucharest labor”. Through the activities to be carried out under the project, it will contribute to the achievement of the specific objective of the priority axis. The land, currently degraded and unused, following the functional conversion will be returned to the city, with the following benefits: — Transforming the existing degraded space into a multi-purpose and integrable one in the rest of the urban spaces arranged in the central area of the city over the last decade.
