The general objective of the proposed project is to improve the infrastructure of inclusive and implicit education of the educational process, through the construction, rehabilitation, modernisation and equipping of the School Center for Inclusive Education Filipeștii de Targ, Prahova County. Special and specially integrated education is an integral part of the Romanian national education system and provides all children/students/young people with educational programs adapted to their deficiency and development needs. Investment in education, improvement of educational infrastructure is a constant concern of local public authorities. In addition to the many important considerations contributing to quality education, the conditions of educational establishments in which children learn are of major importance. There is therefore a need for considerable interest in the rehabilitation of buildings in order to carry out teaching activities properly. Prahova County Council and the management of the Special Centre for Inclusive Education from Filipeștii de Târg commune have shown their interest in the educational infrastructure of the county and resorted to the start of rehabilitation and modernisation actions of the School Center, given the conditions under which the school activity is currently carried out, in two building bodies that do not correspond to the norms of school design. Thus, the aim is to achieve the proposed objective of developing and improving the educational infrastructure and creating qualitative conditions for the conduct of teaching processes. Through this project, the construction of the new infrastructure will take into account aspects of energy-efficient and environmentally responsible solutions, reduced environmental impact, the creation of appropriate hygiene conditions, as well as the saving of funds for the operation of the building. In addition, the overall objective of the project contributes both to an increase in the quality of the special educational process and to increasing the level of participation in special primary and secondary education.
