Romania as a member of the European Union must align itself with the objectives of the European Community. The essence of the objectives is to increase performance in all fields of activity while ensuring current standards. In accordance with this strategy of alignment with European norms, by including this investment objective in financing, the infrastructure of educational objectives is mainly developed. Thus, by adopting policy measures on energy efficiency, which lead to important energy savings among consumers, we achieve the reduction of environmental pollution by reducing the production of polluting emissions and greenhouse gases. The general objective of the project THERMIC REABILITATION FOR ENERGY efficiency improvement at CORP C1 and CORP C2 – GRUP SCOLAR “HORIA VINTILA” ORAS Segarcea, the DOLJ JUDET is to reduce the costs of administration by increasing the energy efficiency of the public building. In this respect, the following works are carried out: • insulation of opaque vertical building elements • replacing the carpentry related to facades; • thermal insulation of the floor above the last level; • interventions on the heating settings, on the consumer hot water installations and on the lighting installation; All this will increase the energy efficiency of the building. The general objective of the project is in line with the Specific Objective (OS) – Increasing energy efficiency in residential buildings, public buildings and public lighting systems, especially those that record high energy consumption, OS of Priority Axis 3 – Supporting transition towards a low carbon economy, Investment Priority 3.1 – Supporting energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructures, including in public buildings, and in the housing sector, Operation B – Public Buildings, under the Regional Operational Programme (ROP) 2014-2020. The inclusion in the financing and, subsequently, the implementation of the investment project will ensure the optimal conditions for carrying out the specific activities and will lead to the improvement of the living conditions of the children and teachers attending the building, by: • improving the condition of the building and the conditions of indoor thermal comfort; • reducing heat loss and energy consumption; • saving the amount of energy in the medium and long term and reducing maintenance costs for heating and hot water consumption; • reducing pollutant (CO2) emissions from energy production, transport and consumption leading to the efficient use of energy resources, in line with the updated Europe 2020 strategy for 2030. Last but not least, the implementation of the TERMIC REABILITATION project for the improvement of energy efficiency
