Increase the energy efficiency of the building where Strehaia City Hall works. The main objective of this project is the possibility of energy efficiency through rehabilitation, consolidation and endowment of Strehaia City Hall, located in Strehaia city, county. Mehedinti, in order to ensure optimal conditions for increasing the comfort and safety of carrying out activities specific to this institution. To this end, it is necessary and appropriate to carry out the intervention works on the building in order to increase the energy performance, i.e. reducing the energy consumption for heating, while ensuring and maintaining the indoor thermal climate, repairing and bringing to current standards both the installations and the building as a whole, specifying that the architectural aspect of the building will not be affected. The implementation of energy efficiency measures in these building bodies will improve the conditions for carrying out the activities specific to the city hall, for which the following main works are needed: — improvement of the thermal insulation of the building envelope, (external walls, floor), roofing and coverings, including building consolidation measures; — modernisation of installations for the preparation of heat and ventilation and air-conditioning systems, including the purchase and installation of related equipment; the use of renewable energy sources to provide heating needs; implementation of energy management systems and monitoring of energy consumption; internal partitioning in order to obtain the necessary facilities for sanitary facilities in accordance with the current and normative requirements in force; — repair of protective sidewalks in order to eliminate infiltrations to the building infrastructure; — repairs and reinforcements at the building, where appropriate; — the creation of facilities for people with disabilities, by placing vertical authoridicating platforms or access ramps in the main entrance areas of the building; — any other activities leading to the achievement of the project objectives, dismantling of existing installations and equipment, repair works on facades, etc. The proposed works will be carried out: — reducing heat loss and energy consumption; — reduction of maintenance costs for heating; — reducing pollutant emissions from energy production, transport and consumption, leading to efficient use of energy resources.
